Detailed planning of Volta quarter providesfor restructuring of the former industrial Voltaquarter according to the project by Finnisharchitectural bureau AW² that has won thebest idea competition of 2007, according towhich it is possible to create a comprehensiveresidential and business environment there.When creating a residential environment,attention is focused on the quality of publicspace, parking organization, creation of agreen recreational area, as well as ensuring asecurity and safety of surroundings.The main idea is zoning of the planned area.Volta quarter is divided into different zonesconsidering the existing and future infrastructure: the zones located closer to the externalstreets will have shops and offies, while thecenter of the quarter will have a residential environment with homes and the parking area.
